LEAP: Learning Enrichment Activities Program
Learning comes alive at Nativity School through experiences guided by virtue.  Students engage in enrichment programs that foster growth in confidence, character and community concern. Students will participate in enrichment activities during the school day with peers focusing on exploration while developing teamwork, self-confidence, analytical thinking skills, and service of others.  Field trips and outdoor learning will enhance overall learning experiences.

 

Gardening: 
  • Description: Our School Gardening LEAP is a fun, hands-on group where students learn about plants, nature, and seasonal gardening. Students work together to grow vegetables while developing teamwork, responsibility, and environmental awareness. The club provides an opportunity to spend time outdoors, care for living things, and enjoy the rewards of growing food from seed to harvest. Students of all experience levels are welcome.

Cook, Create and Care:
  • Description: Cook, Create and Care is a hands-on learning enrichment program where students develop practical life skills while growing in creativity, confidence, and service to others. Through cooking, creative projects, hospitality, and teamwork, students will discover the joy of using their God-given talents to care for themselves, their families and the people around them.  Rooted in our Catholic faith, Cook, Create and Care encourages students to work with their hands, serve with joyful hearts and build skills and values that will last a lifetime.

STEM:  Lego, Robotics, etc:
  • Description: Our STEM enrichment program gives students the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through fun, hands-on activities.                                                                Virtue- Diligence 
Drama:  
  • Description: The drama group will come together for the purpose of fostering creativity, boosting self-confidence, and creating opportunities for public speaking and self-expression.                                        Virtue: Fortitude    
         
Strategy:  
  • Description: During Strategy Enrichment, students will develop analytical thinking skills to help with problem solving by playing strategy games and creating strategy games for others to solve.
    Virtue: Patience for personal growth
