Thank you for your interest in Nativity School.  Since 1960 Nativity School has provided children in grades K4 -th, from James Island and surrounding areas, with a comprehensive academic program. Faith development and spiritual growth are incorporated through daily prayer, weekly mass, and sacramental preparation.  Our students are educated in the Catholic faith and its values. The faculty and staff of Nativity school work together to promote our core values: instilling faith; embracing family; inspiring excellence; and embodying service.

As part of our mission, we create an environment for our students in which their overall potential can be achieved. Small class sizes allow for the faculty to expand on the curriculum in creative and innovative ways. In addition to the core subjects, all our students are involved in Spanish, P.E, Art, Music, Computer, and Library as their special area classes.  Our 8th-grade students take Algebra I and Spanish I for high school credit.

Nativity School’s existence would not be possible without the support of our parents and many volunteers.  We have a very active and supportive PTO and Advisory Board.  Everyone believes in a faith-based education and works toward providing our students with the best Catholic education possible.

If you have any questions or would like to visit Nativity School, please call the school office at             (843)795-3975 for an appointment or a school tour.

Many Blessings,

Patti Dukes
